Dental implant failure remains a prevalent problem around the globe. The integration of implants at interface soft and hard tissues is complex susceptible to instability infections. Modifications surface titanium have been developed improve performance, yet insufficient biofilm formation remain major problems. Introducing nanostructures on augment implant–tissue contact holds promise for facilitated integration; however, current coating processes are limited in their versatility or costs. We present highly modular single-step approach produce multicomponent porous bioactive nanostructured coatings implants. Inorganic nanoparticle building blocks with compositions architectures synthesized situ deposited single step using scalable liquid-feed flame spray pyrolysis. hybrid based ceria bioglass, which render surfaces superhydrophilic, promote cell adhesion, exhibit antimicrobial properties. By modifications bioglass/ceria nanohybrid composition architecture that prevent biomineralization, can instead be tailored toward tissue healing. one-step synthesis nano-architected tissue-specific has great potential dental implantology beyond.
